Knuble Knots 1,000
Mike Knuble is a lot of things. He is a Stanley Cup Champion, a citizen of both Canada and the United States, an alternate captain for the Caps, a member of the 4th line on the Caps (wait, what?), a family man, a total badass, and is now a veteran of 1000 NHL regular season games, a milestone that only 268 other NHL players were able to reach.
To honor this feat, the Caps wore special jerseys with Knuble’s number 22 on the back during warmups. Further, a special tribute video was shown before the game. Following this, Knuble was given a silver hockey stick, some fancy crystal, and uh, a jetski?
Congratulations on your 1000th game, Mike. Here’s to 1000 more!
