Group Tickets for The Washington AHL Showcase on Sale Monday
Dying to see the Hershey Bears in Washington DC? Your wish has been granted.
News broke in late January that DC would play host to the Hershey Bears and Norfolk Admirals in an AHL regular season game to be played in the Verizon Center next season. At the time, no more information was known other than a tentative date. Though, more information came Thursday evening via E-mail to Caps fans.
According to the E-mail, the game being called “The Washington AHL Showcase” is scheduled to be played on December 6, 2012, pending the release of the 2012-2013 NHL and NBA regular season schedules. Starting Monday March 26, groups of 10 or more people will be able to purchase tickets ranging from $12 per seat to $54 per seat, the $12 seats being the nosebleed section (our favorite) and the $54 seats being the first row, VIP seats (no comment). As stated in the E-mail, this will be the first time the Bears will play in DC since 1976.
Price list for groups of 10+:
